Personal World View

Through this course, I feel as if I’ve been exposed to several ways to count for and to quantify experience. Before, I believed that experience was just what someone lived through–or for lack of better words, experienced–but rather that experience is interlaced in our media life and social life, as to which we can observe different media outlets in order to quantify it. A photo, a gif, an essay–all of these things can represented our experience, as well as help let other understand how we express our experience. It is without these things that we then lack what is further more a part of who we are, as what we’ve experience ultimately makes us the person we are today.

In terms of what is being left out and over looked, even with the presentation of our personality through our personal database or even our screen self portrait, individuals will still lack the fundamentals in terms of what makes us who we are. It is with these things that we are able to only slightly express who we are, but not fully. All of these can perhaps be left out both deliberately and incidentally as first, we may be unaware that we are leaving out the fundamentals of what makes us who we are, and second, who says that we need to share every aspect of ourself with the whole world, but rather ignore the outside and be more intuitive to our inside.
